TEACHING AND LEARNING AT BIRMINGHAM CITY UNIVERSITY

I have taught across all three levels on the BA Hons in Costume Design and Practice, Fashion Design, and Garment Technology at Birmingham City University since 2008.

Teaching across design, practice, and theory across the three exit awards, the Heimatologist has delivered content on a breadth of modules with a particular focus on live projects. 

These have included, 

'The Final', with Gres Portela School of Samba, Rio de Janeiro (2015), Acis and Galatea (opera) in collaboration with Newcastle University and the National Trust (2018), and The Enchanted Island in collaboration with the Birmingham Royal Conservatoire (2020).
